A tasteless powder that starts breaking down food instantly.

Unlike capsules which take time to break down in the digestive tract, our powder formula starts working the moment it enters your mouth.

This allows for better breakdown of FODMAP's like bread, dairy, beans, onions & garlic.

FODZYME allows you to eat more foods without altering the flavor or texture so you can enjoy food freely.

Enjoy foods you couldn't before!

Why Choose FODZYME

Not a Probiotic. Not a Pill.

  • Engineered to Break Down FODMAPs
This patent-pending blend features a fructan-focused enzyme formulated to interact with FODMAP carbs present in wheat, garlic, onion and other foods.
  • Easy Powder Format
Simply mix into meals at home or when dining out—no pills required.
  • Scientifically Supported
Supported by peer-reviewed publications on the enzyme blend and FODMAP carbohydrates.
  • Third-Party Tested
Independently tested for enzyme activity, allergens, and contaminants for consistent quality.

How It Works

FODZYME has two serving formats with identical enzyme blends. The Home Kit provides 0.75g per serving for home meals with clear ingredients. The On-the-Go Kit offers 1g per serving, a larger portion made for restaurant meals with undisclosed FODMAP ingredients.
The Anywhere Bundle includes both kits. Serving size is not based on age or body weight; it depends on meal size and FODMAP content. Portions are formulated using average meal FODMAP levels and typical user preferences.

Step 1

Let hot foods cool slightly before applying (below 140 °F / 60 °C).

Step 2

Mix directly or apply evenly on meals. It’s tasteless.

Step 3

Can’t mix? Sprinkle and chew with first bite.

Step 4

Double dose if extra sensitive or for large meals.

Tasteless Powder Formulation

FODZYME® is formulated as a tasteless powder to support even mixing with FODMAP-containing foods.
The powder format allows the enzyme blend to interact directly with food components during digestion.
Unlike capsules, the powder mixes easily with food, helping to optimize enzyme performance for the intended use.

Our fructan hydrolase is formulated to interact with fructans including inulin, fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), and levan.

Supports processing of fructan-type carbohydrates found in many plant foods.

Our alpha-galactosidase enzyme interacts with galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and galactans (“O” in FODMAPs).

Works on GOS carbohydrates common in beans and vegetables.

Our lactase enzyme (also called β-D-galactosidase) interacts with lactose (the “D” in FODMAPs).

Supports processing of lactose found in dairy ingredients.

    Evidence & Research

FODZYME® uses a patent-pending enzyme designed to interact with fructans — a common FODMAP carbohydrate found in wheat, onion, garlic and more.
Some people who suspect gluten sensitivity may actually react to fructans.

    Unlock New Foods

Our current formulation is designed to interact with select FODMAPs: fructan (garlic, onion, wheat, and more), GOS (legumes, nuts), and lactose (dairy products). We are actively developing solutions for polyols such as sorbitol and mannitol, found in apples, avocados, and mushrooms.

** FODZYME® is formulated to lower fructan (a FODMAP) levels within wheat, barley and rye products, not gluten. Fructan may act as a trigger for those with non-celiac gluten sensitivity.

FODZYME® may support access to a wide range of wholesome, nutritious and delicious foods

What foods does FODZYME® help digest?

FODZYME® targets three primary FODMAP groups—fructans, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), and lactose—which are common triggers for digestive discomfort. Its enzyme blend works on foods like garlic, onions, wheat, beans, lentils, dairy products, and certain vegetables, breaking these FODMAPs into easily digestible sugars.

Key Food Groups Supported and Example Foods:

        • Fructans:Garlic, onions, leeks, wheat, barley, asparagus, artichokes, Brussels sprouts, and cashews.
        • GOS:Chickpeas, lentils, black beans, red kidney beans, soy milk (whole bean), pistachios, and oats.
        • Lactose:Milk, yogurt, ice cream, soft cheeses (ricotta, cottage cheese), and cream.

        How do I take FODZYME®?

        1. Mix Directly:Mix FODZYME® directly or apply evenly on meals. It’s tasteless.
        2. Alternate Method:If you can’t mix, sprinkle FODZYME® and chew with the first bite.
        3. Adjust Dosage:Dosage is personal—double the dose if extra sensitive or for large meals.
        4. Temperature Note:Allow hot foods to cool slightly before applying (below 140 °F / 60 °C). As a rule of thumb, adding FODZYME® is okay if the meal is cool enough that it won’t burn.
        5. Enjoy:Chew well and enjoy your meal!

How is FODZYME® different from other digestive enzymes?

Most digestive enzyme supplements contain proteases, lipases, and amylases that target proteins, fats, and starches — not FODMAPs, which are the primary dietary triggers of digestive symptoms like bloating, gas, and pain. FODZYME® is the first enzyme supplement specifically formulated to break down FODMAPs. Its proprietary fructan hydrolase targets fructans found in garlic, onion, and wheat, while alpha-galactosidase targets GOS in beans and legumes, and lactase targets lactose in dairy.

FODZYME® is a powder rather than a capsule, ensuring direct enzyme-food contact during digestion.

How quickly does FODZYME® work? When will I feel something?

FODZYME® begins breaking down FODMAPs immediately upon contact with food. In a peer-reviewed study (Castro Ochoa et al., Gastro Hep Advances, 2023), it degraded up to 90% of fructans within 30 minutes under simulated gastric conditions. This rapid action breaks down FODMAPs in the stomach and upper small intestine — before they reach the colon where bacterial fermentation causes bloating and gas.

Most users notice the absence of their usual symptoms 4–8 hours after a FODMAP-rich meal, consistent with normal gastrointestinal transit time. In an IRB-approved clinical study (Kaye et al., Gastro Hep Advances, 2026), 78% of participants reported improvement in bloating and flatulence from FODMAP ingestion after 4 weeks (P<.01).

Will FODZYME® interfere with my medications?

FODZYME® is generally considered safe to use alongside most medications, as its enzymes work specifically on FODMAPs in the digestive tract. However, it’s always a good idea to consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist before starting any new supplement—especially if you’re taking prescription medications.

Individual responses can vary. If you notice any unusual symptoms or changes in medication effectiveness, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider immediately.

Is FODZYME® a cure for conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?

No. FODZYME® is a digestive enzyme supplement, not a cure for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or any medical condition. It works by breaking down specific FODMAP carbohydrates in food during digestion, which may reduce symptoms triggered by those foods — including bloating, gas, and abdominal pain. FODZYME® does not address the underlying causes of IBS.

If you have been diagnosed with IBS or suspect you have a digestive disorder, consult a gastroenterologist or registered dietitian. FODZYME® can be used alongside medical treatment and the low-FODMAP diet as directed by your healthcare provider.

Is FODZYME® safe to take while I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

FODZYME®’s enzymes work on your food without entering your body, making it a low-risk option. However, because studies on pregnant or breastfeeding women are limited for ethical reasons, there’s no concrete evidence it’s unsafe—but it’s best to consult your physician before use.

Keep in mind that a low FODMAP diet isn’t generally advised during pregnancy due to potential nutritional restrictions, so always prioritize a nutrient-rich diet. Rest assured that all ingredients are GRAS-certified and undergo rigorous third-party testing for safety and quality.
